What is FeedImageEditor image downloader?
FeedImageEditor image downloader is an automated bot operated by FeedImageEditor (feedimageeditor.com). It downloads product images from e-commerce feeds on behalf of our customers so they can be processed, resized, and optimized within the FeedImageEditor platform. The bot only fetches images that are explicitly listed in product data feeds provided by our customers.

Purpose
What it does:
- Downloads product images referenced in customer-supplied data feeds (XML, CSV)
- Fetches each image URL exactly once per feed import cycle, then periodically to check for image content changes
- Follows HTTP redirects
What it does not do:
- Does not crawl or spider websites
- Does not follow links found in page HTML
- Does not collect personal data or page content
- Does not execute JavaScript
robots.txt
Since this bot only fetches explicit image URLs from customer-supplied feeds and does not crawl websites, robots.txt is not applicable to its operation. The bot never discovers or follows links independently.
Scope
The bot visits only URLs that appear directly in product feed files submitted by FeedImageEditor customers. It does not discover new URLs on its own. Visited domains are therefore limited to image hosting servers and CDNs used by our customers' e-shops.
